After conducting a thorough heuristic evaluation of the "Patient Portal" App, several notable challenges and usability issues came to light, sparking the initiative for improvement. These challenges were akin to obstacles and barriers that impeded users' access to essential functions.
In response to the challenges identified in the "Patient Portal" App, several key improvements have been made: Users can now easily modify or change previously scheduled appointments with the addition of a dedicated button, simplifying appointment management. To prevent users from overlooking appointments, appointments cards now notifications as the scheduled date approaches, ensuring users stay informed. The inclusion of a user-friendly menu button has enhanced overall navigation within the app, making it easier for users to access different sections and functionalities. These enhancements address usability issues and improve the overall user experience, offering greater control and convenience to patients.
